The AlphaMail.pl Kit is perfect for use by all sites who need an e-mail form -- including an autoresponder!

It is especially designed with Perl newcomers in mind, and features extremely easy set-up; overall simplicity; crystal-clear, uncluttered code; and thorough instructions.  Perl veterans will also appreciate it as a solid, general purpose fast-install e-mail script, with everything required included in the download.

AlphaMail.pl uses a form (supplied) to receive information from someone wishing to send you an e-mail (i.e., name, e-mail, message).

When the form is submitted, the information is sent to your e-mail address, including a date stamp.  At the same time, the applicant receives an automatic response confirming the submitted information, with a copy of his message and a brief response from you.

The script automatically filters to be sure all fields are filled and that the e-mail address is present and properly formed.  If fields are left blank or the e-mail address is malformed, the script sends the visitor to a (supplied) error page, with instructions on correcting the form error.

Assuming all fields are present and correct, the user is sent to a Thank You page (supplied).

a_thanks.html	After the script "submit" button is hit, it normally goes to this page.  It's a passive page that you can edit any way you want; just provided with the kit for easy set-up.
a_fail.html	If form fields are left blank or the e-mail address is malformed, the visitor is referred to this page.  Again, you can edit it any way you wish; the boilerplate is provided in the kit for easy set-up.
